RESPONSIBILITIES

About the Job

The Senior Staff Nurse works with the Nursing Leaders to organise and provide nursing services to residents in the Nursing Home. She/he will assist in research related to improvement in nursing care and participate actively in the quality assurance program

Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of nursing care and service delivery.
• Conduct daily nursing rounds to assigned RLA to ensure maximum care and ascertain the need for additional or modified service.
• Be accountable for nursing care given, and ensures that personal practice and that of staff under supervision meet standards of practice.
• To ensure that the delivery of nursing care is organized so that the focus is on the individual residents specific needs.
• To ensure that all documentation in relation to all aspects of the resident of resident care management is accurately maintained.
• To ensure the implementation of nursing policies and procedures Supervise staff to ensure safe medication practices.

QUALIFICATIONS

Diploma/Advance Diploma/Degree in Nursing

Job Requirements:

• Registered with Singapore Nursing Board
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certified
• Good interpersonal and communication skills with people of all levels
• Demonstrate skill and knowledge in the eldercare sector
• Able to work closely with the Multi-disciplinary team members

OTHER INFORMATION

Working Hours

• 44 working hours per week (1 day off per week according to roster)
• Shift duty according to the nursing roster
