Senior / Staff Software Engineer

What You'll Be Doing

• Design and implement innovative solutions for our full range of products.
• Build out industry-leading finanical platforms.
• Performance optimization for overall backend architecture aiming for low latency, high availability and scalability
• Build high availability high performance distributed service.
• Improve technology best practices and code reviews for peers.
• Work closely with Product, Design and Marketing teams to drive rapid innovation in cross-functional teams.

What We Look For In You

• Solid STEM (Science/Technology/Engineering/Mathematics) education background.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in backend development, with data structures/algorithms.
• Strong logical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Fluent with high performance Java and async programming patterns.
• 5 years of experience with distributed systems and micro service architecture.
• Experience leading project teams and defining technical strategies.
• Proven track record of collaborating with teams across different offices and time zones, and managing cross-functional projects.

Nice to Have

• Willing to learn all aspects of trading products in financial and crypto markets, including spot, future, swap, options, and structured products.
• Proficiency in speaking, reading and writing in both English and Mandarin to collaborate effectively with global and cross-functional team members.
