Job Summary:
- We are looking for an experienced Senior Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE) to lead quality initiatives across our supplier network for thermal cooling solutions in the electronics and computing sectors. The successful candidate will ensure supplier quality and process reliability, collaborating closely with suppliers to meet our high standards for product excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supplier Quality Monitoring & Improvement: Develop and implement systems to monitor supplier quality, ensuring that materials and components comply with quality standards. Identify and resolve any non-conformance issues with suppliers.
- Supplier Process Optimization: Work together with suppliers to optimize their processes, improving yield and ensuring consistent quality of materials and components.
- Abnormal Quality Issue Management: Take charge of addressing and resolving abnormal quality issues with suppliers, implementing corrective and preventive measures.
- Supplier Audits & Compliance: Perform audits to evaluate suppliers quality systems, process capabilities, and adherence to industry standards. Initiate improvement actions based on audit results.
- Supplier Development: Collaborate with suppliers to enhance their quality processes, ensuring they align with company standards and customer expectations.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Facilitate seamless communication and alignment on quality expectations by coordinating with design, production, and procurement teams.
- Continuous Improvement: Foster a culture of continuous improvement by partnering with suppliers to enhance their quality management systems and manufacturing practices.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance, or a related field.
- Minimum 5-7 years of relevant experience in supplier quality engineering or a related role within the manufacturing or electronics industry.
- Proven experience in supplier quality engineering, particularly in a manufacturing or electronics setting.
- Strong understanding of supplier quality management systems and standards.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation abilities.
- Knowledge of supplier audits, corrective actions, and continuous improvement processes.
- Six Sigma certification or similar qualification is advantageous.
- Willingness to travel frequently and work abroad in China and Vietnam for a minimum of 10 months per year (includes four round-trip tickets to Singapore annually and separate arrangements for living accommodations).
