Summary
Deliver in conjunction with the Senior Sustainability Manager a 5 year-roadmap to define our cor-porate sustainability targets, including a comprehensive implementation plan.
Support LKASIA in achieving the targets through regular ideation of new ideas, trainings and co-operation with relevant internal and external stakeholders.
What you'll do
The holder of the position is mainly responsible for the following areas in coordination with his/her superior:
Support the development and execution of our Corporate Sustainability Strategy as well as other strategy development activities
Together with the Senior Manager and local teams, roll-out a comprehensive implementation plan to achieve our targets, manage the project plan and provide regular updates
Liaise with our Analysts to define relevant data to be captured to measure our progress
Initiate and manage Corporate Sustainability activities together with relevant internal teams and external stakeholders
Develop and roll-out trainings on sustainability for our employees and stakeholders
Cooperate with our Corporate Affairs team to identify and engage external stakeholders to achieve our strategy targets, drive corporate sustainability projects and receive external recognition
Support in the submission of corporate facing reports like EcoVadis and the Sustainability Report
Develop relevant sustainability policies, update of cross-functional guidance documents and reports
Consult with, advise and work with various business units to ensure sustainability considerations are built in as part of on-going business practices.
Keep up to date on the latest trends and developments with respect to corporate initiatives in our Apollo offices, including attending seminars and conducting research
Support the Sustainability and RSCM team on ad hoc projects
What you'll need
Minimum 5-7 years experience working in the field of sustainability
Experience in corporate sustainability, sustainable development, environmental sustainability or related field preferred
Excellent communication skills to rationally explain, explore and discuss sustainability issues, as well as to sell your ideas
Entrepreneurial skills to identify new ideas and solutions for our product offerings
Sound persuasive skills to navigate resistance to change and influence people to ac-cept your ideas
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment; anticipate needs and be proactive in re-solving issues; and follow Lidl HK policies and procedures.
Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
Autonomous, proactive, detailed and commercially minded
High degree of works ethics and integrity
Good command of both spoken and written English. Additional languages are an advantage
Strong knowledge of Microsoft applications especially Excel, Word & Powerpoint
