Senior System Design Engineer - Railway (Contract)

The Role:

We would like to get on board a Telecommunication engineer (or similar) to work inside of the railway communication infrastructure area, to develop and deploy communication transport solutions (fixed and radio) for large international railway projects. Main tasks to be performed by the COMMS engineer:

o Analysis of project requirements and propose the solutions accordingly.

o Development of system technical specifications.

o Development of system architectures and integration with 3rd parties systems.

o Technical interface with customers and other contractors.

o Realization of testing and commissioning works onsite.

o Network troubleshooting for wired and wireless systems both.

o Technical support to systems once into operation after commissioning.

o Onsite testing and commissioning.

The Requirements:

. Tertiary qualification in Electrical and Electronics Engineering

. Minimum 2 years experience working on various communication systems technologies such as fibre-optic transmissions, digital trunked radio, public address and telephony, CCTV surveillance, access management and travel information systems preferred
