Senior Tax Associate

Responsibilities:

. Assist in providing tax compliance and tax advisory services to a portfolio of corporate clients in diverse industries.

. Handle corporate income tax compliance work for a portfolio of clients, including public listed companies and SMEs. This includes preparation of income tax computations as well as Form C tax returns.

. Respond to tax queries from the Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore (IRAS) regarding clients tax matters. This may involve lodging Notices of Objection with the IRAS when necessary.

. Work on ad-hoc tax advisory projects such as cross-border tax advisory, group restructuring, and tax due diligence projects as assigned by management.

. Undertake ad-hoc duties assigned by management from time to time, contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the tax team.

Requirements:

. Studies in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

. SCTP accreditation will be added advantage.

. Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in tax compliance and advisory services.

. Strong understanding of Singapore tax regulations and compliance requirements.

. Proficiency in using Singtax software (for corporate tax).

. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact confidently with clients and colleagues
