Role
We are looking for individuals to join our Building & Facilities team to enhance operations and efficiencies and to maintain a modern and technologically advanced office facility. You can look forward to an exciting and challenging role that requires you to:
- Provide the necessary technical expertise and know-how in the support and management of the day-to-day facilities maintenance and operations including liaising and collaborating with DSTA and external entities.
- Oversee and administer Facilities Management and Building Infra System contracts and processes.
- Plan and manage maintenance works and services including upgrading, Addition & Alteration (A&A) works and Statutory/Authority mandated works and requirements.
- Oversee and manage logistical support for activities including events, emergency preparedness, crisis management.
- Support in the planning and management of the annual facility maintenance budget
- Operate IT-enabled Facilities Management applications for maintenance planning and review
- Conduct checks and audits on contracts, works and services.
- Be familiar with policies and governance on real estate and facilities maintenance management, build-environment management and workplace safety and health
- Diploma in Facilities Management, Building Services, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering or Building related discipline
- Preferably with 5 years of experience in providing technical expertise in facilities management for an administrative/commercial development.
- Broad understanding of benchmarks, guidelines, statutory requirement and Singapore Standards/Code of Practice in relation to facilities management matters
- Preferably with knowledge and experience in Public Service procurement and contracting practices
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong team player with positive attitude
