This role is based in Singapore and involves working on our Global Markets platform. It reports directly to the Regional Head of Global Markets
Job Description
- Trading instruments such as FX or interest rates or fixed income. To provide advice/high quality feedback and service to internal stakeholders and the trading team. Proactively introduce and control trading strategies to maximize returns. Closely monitor regulatory changes and requirements and communicate changes with the rest of the trading team and internal stakeholders.
- Build strong understanding and proficiency in our trading systems and help refine infrastructure and streamline operations. Meticulous record keeping and reporting on trading activities.
Qualifications
Minimum degree requirement: Masters degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related fields. CFA or similar qualifications are a plus. Advanced knowledge of Excel and VBA. Bloomberg knowledge is a plus.
Additional Information
- Knowledge and understanding of financial markets, in FX or interest rates or equities.
- Ideally up to 3 years of experience in an institutional trading environment or a global treasury.
- Excellent communication skills. Proficiency in English.
- Self-motivation and good organizational skills.
- Autonomous, results driven, the candidate will need to be able to communicate and work closely with support functions, particularly Treasury, Legal, Credit and other business unit traders.
- In depth knowledge of banking and financial markets with particular understanding of the regulatory environment.
