The Senior UI/UX Designer will help translate ideas and research findings into tangible product experiences. You will work with a multi-cultural, multi-disciplined team in a fast-paced, dynamic, agile environment and collaborate closely with Product Managers, Designers and Engineers to take products from concept to the delivery of a commercial outcomes.
Major Responsibilities
DESIGN
Generating effective design solutions with consideration for the right balance of business requirements and customer needs
Use research and data insights to inform design decisions that drive commercial outcomes
Planning and conducting usability testing when required
Support development of products and features collaborating to find the right balance of speed and experience quality
Leverage and contribute to the RightShip design system
STAKEHOLDER ENGAGEMENT
Developing and maintaining strong professional and collaborative working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Adaptability and resilience, and the ability to navigate through ambiguity
Communicating with stakeholders to connect design designs to commercial outcomes and creating a shared understanding
Qualifications, Skills & Experience
Minimum of 5 years as a UX designer or in a similar role
Discovery and validation research techniques
Product design
Interaction design
Knowledge of Agile development principles.
Strong communication, analytical and interpersonal skills working within cross-functional teams are important.
Having strong visual design skills is a plus.
Must be organised, able to act independently and able to switch rapidly between different projects in a fast-paced and exciting environment.
Adept in design tools
A degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field is preferred
