We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Web Designer with deep expertise in WordPress development, graphic design, branding, and lead generation strategies. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating high-converting websites and landing pages while ensuring a consistent and visually appealing brand identity across all digital platforms. This role requires technical expertise in WordPress management, including plugin management, troubleshooting, server hosting, and site performance optimization, as well as creativity in delivering a seamless user experience.
You will collaborate closely with the marketing and branding teams to ensure that website design and visual elements are aligned with our brand's identity and marketing goals. This position requires an individual who is highly organized, can manage multiple projects at once, and can deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
Website Flow, User Experience & Lead Generation:
- Design and optimize website flow to create seamless user journeys that enhance engagement and maximize conversions.
- Develop high-converting landing pages, incorporating lead capture forms, CTAs, and multimedia elements to support lead generation efforts.
- Use data-driven tools such as heat maps and Google Analytics to assess and improve user experience and lead generation.
WordPress Development & Management:
- Manage WordPress plugins: Install, configure, and troubleshoot a variety of WordPress plugins to ensure smooth website functionality and compatibility with existing systems.
- Website configuration: Set up and optimize cache plugins (e.g., WP Rocket, W3 Total Cache) to improve website performance, load times, and user experience.
- Server hosting and domain management: Oversee server hosting, DNS settings, and domain management (e.g., cPanel, Cloudflare), ensuring website performance, uptime, and security.
- Troubleshooting: Resolve technical issues related to WordPress themes, plugins, and hosting to minimize downtime and ensure smooth operation.
- Security management: Implement WordPress security best practices, including managing backups, SSL certificates, firewalls, and security plugins.
Graphic Design & Branding:
- Lead the creation of visually compelling graphics, banners, and digital assets for the website and other digital platforms.
- Ensure all designs are aligned with the brand's identity, creating a cohesive and impactful visual presence across the website and landing pages.
- Collaborate with the marketing teams to ensure that all visual content supports the overall brand strategy and goals.
Landing Page Design & Optimization:
- Design and optimize landing pages for conversion, using A/B testing and performance data to continuously improve results.
- Ensure that all landing pages are strategically designed to convert visitors into leads while maintaining a strong visual appeal.
Wireframing & Prototyping:
- Create wireframes and prototypes for new web designs, with a focus on user flow, lead generation, and branding alignment.
- Present design concepts and integrate feedback to ensure that website designs meet business and branding goals.
Performance Monitoring & Optimization:
- Continuously monitor and analyze website performance metrics, including bounce rates and conversion rates, to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Implement optimization strategies based on data insights to increase lead generation and ensure website performance aligns with branding and business objectives.
Requirements:
- Minimum 8 years of proven experience in WordPress development, graphic design, and branding, with a focus on creating high-converting websites and landing pages.
- Strong graphic design skills, with proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) and the ability to create cohesive, visually appealing designs that align with brand identity.
- Expertise in landing page development and conversion rate optimization (CRO), with a focus on lead generation.
- Solid understanding of DNS management, server hosting, and website performance optimization.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines with sense of urgency while maintaining attention to detail and high-quality standards.
- Familiarity with tools such as Google Analytics, heat maps, and A/B testing to track and improve user behavior and conversion rates.
- Strong collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with marketing teams to ensure visual consistency and brand alignment across all platforms.
Preferred:
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript for enhanced web functionality.
- Experience with marketing automation tools (HubSpot, Zoho CRM) and advanced lead generation strategies.
