Your responsibilities and tasks:
Key Responsibilities:
Handling of Service-related jobs onboard vessels and at customer sites that includes Inspections, Preventive Maintenance, service/repair, troubleshooting, installation, commissioning etc.
Support customers both vessels & land base in the region.
Installation, commissioning, maintenance, and servicing role.
Available on call for vessels at shipyard and anchorage.
Plan maintenance jobs as per existing contracts.
Conduct site surveys/inspections and thus propose maintenance/service required.
Troubleshooting issues related to process, electrical or mechanical.
This role reports to the Service Execution Manager in Singapore.
On-the-job training and opportunities to gain product knowledge will be offered.
Other training and opportunities for continued development will be offered.Your profile and qualifications:
Qualification: Bachelor Degree/Diploma in Engineering, Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics
Skills/Experiences/Personal Strengths
Hands on experiences, process knowledge in Separation. Strong technical-know-how on fuel purifiers (Centrifuge Separators)
Relevant experiences with minimum 3 to 4 years in marine industry.
Electrical knowledge and troubleshooting experience would be an advantage.
Experience with site work, machinery maintenance and customer interaction are essential.
Able to read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings and P&ID
Ability to correct problems or take decisions rapidly.
Good oral, written and presentation skills in the English language are essential.
Good computer skills with a sound knowledge of the following software packages, Microsoft Office Products (Excel, Project, Word, PowerPoint).
