Job Description

  • Designing and developing electrical systems for marine vessels
  • Installing and commissioning electrical systems on ships
  • Supervising the work of marine engine technicians
  • Inspecting and testing electrical systems and equipment
  • Maintaining and repairing electrical systems and equipment
  • Designing tray routes and electrical panel positions
  • Creating single-line diagrams of lighting and other electrical panels
  • Supervising the installation, cabling, and termination of electrical equipment
  • Independently testing and commissioning electrical panels
  • Loading testing D.G. sets
  • Presenting surveys of electrical systems to relevant authorities
