Key Purpose
You will be responsible for designing the strategy to grow the sustainable service business. And also implementing and managing the service work of power system products including Power & Distribution Transformers, MV switchgear etc. to ensure customer satisfaction by on time resolution of the customer issues.
You will have a great opportunity to utilize and further develop your skillsets in service business development, technical knowledge about power system products and solutions, and project management capability by various project execution experience.
The roll is a full time position based our Singapore APAC headquarters office.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand customer needs and competitor offer, support the team/existing customers in determining the most appropriate solutions (both commercially and technically) according to the specification requirements and applications, as well as sales organization directives.
- Promote and facilitate maintenance service offers to clients (like Long-term service agreement), ensuring they understand the value of ongoing support and service, to develop service business
- Define and manage the configuration according to bid requirements, negotiate with suppliers agreements and relevant work allocation with partners when needed.
- Participate in the kick-off meeting organized by the project team, define cost for the proposed solution and coordinate with internal functions to ensure the project risk and cost is evaluated and managed.
- Support project management and local sales team, coordinate with electricians, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution by addressing customer inquiries and resolving any technical issues that arise.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and compliance with safety regulations.
- Manage the first technical inspection to retrieve all the information needed to troubleshoot the cases and prepare the proposal, obtain cost information from relevant internal teams and conduct the necessaries discussions with all relevant stakeholders to close the case.
- Train and guide site personnel on the proper handling and maintenance of MV and HV electrical products.
- Participate in the optimization of the service management system with suppliers and internal stakeholders to improve the service standard and grow the service business
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- At least 3 years of related working experience
- Product knowledge: Power & Distribution Transformers, MV switchgear (AIS/GIS), Low Voltage Switchgear assemblies would be highly advantageous.
- Experience in Sales & Marketing, Maintenance service in electrical power system, and experience with brownfield solutions like retrofit, replacement will be highly advantageous.
- Strong understanding of electrical installation & Commissioning processes, and project management process.
- Have technical know-how and basic skills for Single Line Diagram (SLD) review, layouts and schematic understanding.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with clients and team members.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
