Job Description:

Our client, a Japanese F&B management company, is looking for a Japanese speaking Service Manager for their fine dining restaurant.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide exception service to guests, manage reservations and handle customer feedback
• Ensure ample stock levels of ingredients and liaise with suppliers to replenish as necessary
• Manage the costs, sales and profit & loss of the store and other administrative matters
• Oversee the front of house staff and communicate with Japanese chef to ensure smooth operations
• Train service staff and maintain service levels
• Develop manuals and SOPs for the store etc.

Job Requirements:

• At lease 3 years of experience in a fine dining Japanese restaurant as a restaurant manager or assistant restaurant manager.
• Conversational level of Japanese to communicate with chef from Japan and service Japanese speaking guests
• Able to work flexibly with midnight shifts
• Independent and able to manage and maintain service levels of the store
