Job description:
- Provide exception service to guests, manage reservations and handle customer feedback
- Ensure ample stock levels of ingredients and liaise with suppliers to replenish as necessary
- Manage the costs, sales and profit & loss of the store and other administrative matters
- Oversee the front of house staff and communicate with Japanese chef to ensure smooth operations.
- Train service staff and maintain service levels
- Develop manuals and SOPs for the store etc.
Job Requirements:
- At lease 3 years of experience in a fine dining Japanese restaurant as a restaurant manager or assistant restaurant manager.
- Able to work flexibly with midnight shifts
- Independent and able to manage and maintain service levels of the store
Preferred
- Conversational level of Japanese to communicate with chef from Japan and service Japanese speaking guests
