Responsibilities:
Perform routine maintenance and inspections on fire protection systems to ensure they operate effectively and comply with safety regulations.
Efficiently coordinate and schedule routine inspections, maintenance tasks, and ad hoc work requests to meet client needs while minimizing downtime.
Manage and coordinate replacement projects and minor alterations or additions (A&A) to fire protection systems.
Conduct regular inspections and functional tests of fire protection equipment and systems.
Document and report any deficiencies or issues identified during inspections.
Maintain accurate records of all inspections and maintenance activities.
Repair or replace faulty fire protection equipment as needed.
Upgrade existing systems to comply with current fire safety standards and regulations.
Provide expert recommendations to enhance fire safety and protection measures.
Respond promptly to emergency situations involving fire protection systems.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues with fire alarms and suppression systems during emergencies.
Communicate effectively with clients and building occupants regarding the functions of fire protection systems and safety procedures.
