The Service Technician (Fire Protection) is responsible for the inspection, maintenance, and repair of fire protection systems and equipment.
Perform routine maintenance and inspections on fire protection systems to ensure they are functioning properly and comply with safety standards.
Conduct regular inspections and tests of fire protection equipment and systems.
Document and report any deficiencies or issues found during inspections.
Ensure all inspections and maintenance activities are logged and records are kept up-to-date.
Repair or replace faulty fire protection equipment.
Upgrade existing systems to meet current fire safety standards and regulations.
Provide recommendations to improve fire safety and protection measures.
Respond to emergency situations involving fire protection systems.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues with fire alarms and suppression systems during emergencies.
Communicate with clients and building occupants about fire protection system functions and safety procedures.
