Job Description - Service Technician
We are looking for a Service Technician in maintaining and managing system hardware and networks at customer site located over Singapore island to meet the contractual Service Level Agreement (SLA). The Service Technician shall report directly to the Service Engineer/Maintenance Lead (Reporting Officer (RO)) and Maintenance Manager (Approving Officer (AO)). Hiring shall be 1 year services contract via agent arrangement with option to extend or convert to direct outsource or permanent hiring.
Responsibilities
. Assist the RO in providing Preventive Maintenance (PM) and Corrective Maintenance (CM) tasks.
. Provide update and feedback on PM & CM work including maintenance documentation such as PM & CM checklist and status update to RO for maintenance report consolidation and generation to AO for review and final release to customer.
. Attend to and conduct on-site CM to faults reported/raised by customer on an ad-hoc basis including I-level & D-level testing and troubleshooting on equipment.
. Perform on-site PM to system equipment based on planned scheduled including O-level testing and sensors calibration to ensure optimal operational performance.
. Work with OEM on fault findings on-site and off-site including D-level components repair by sub-contractor
. Convey updates to RO on maintenance tasks progress.
. Review with RO and AO on maintenance processes and resources etc. for maintenance improvement.
. Holding recognised Professional Certificate such as Nitec/ Higher Nitec/ Diploma in Electronics/ Electrical/ Mechanical /Mechatronics/ Aerospace Engineering or equivalent from recognised institution or at least 3-years working experiences in above mentioned engineering fields.
. Both local and foreigner as well as fresh graduate would also be considered.
. Advantage if have some knowledge and experience working with sensor, control, automation, and Information Technology (IT) system troubleshooting
. Resourcefulness and logical in problem-solving aptitude.
. Able to travel and work under non-conducive environment including site located at offshore island, buoys and in high security areas such as military base, and airport etc
. Ability to work as a team and occasionally independently.
. Ability to conduct on the job risk assessment and provide advisory to team member, RO and AO.
. Preferably holding a Class 3 driving license and familiar with Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS).
. Self-motivated, self-discipline and a service mindset with commitment and willingness to learn.
. Able to start work immediately or within a short notice is an advantage
