Job purpose:
Provide training, installation, troubleshooting, repairs, testing and maintenance of field devices professionally, delivering service success that improves customer satisfaction, maximizes customer retention and increases profitability.
Responsibilities:
- Build / Assemble mechanical / electronic components according to requirements.
- Inspect machines and run diagnostic tests to uncover potential technical or functionality issues, and determine appropriate solutions.
- Perform repairs and/or maintenance on machinery, equipment and systems for maximum reliability.
- Provide consultation on correct maintenance and preventive measures to clients.
- Manage on site deployment / installation, testing, troubleshooting, maintenance and repairs.
- Provide service and customer support during site visits.
- Preparation of service reports and records.
- Work closely with team members in customer support, field test, deployment and arrange the service/deployment schedule.
- Possess good attitude, and willingness to learn
- Any other ad-hoc duties assigned
Requirements:
- Education - Diploma in Mechatronics/ Electrical/ Electronic Engineering or equivalent
- Experience - Min 1 year experience in servicing appliances/ equipment/ machines. Candidates with no prior experience, but possess relevant qualifications will be considered.
- Experience - Able to troubleshoot and repair both electrical and electronic components inside the machine/ equipment.
- Others - Proficient in MS Office (PowerPoint, Words, Excel)/ Online platform software
- Able to communicate with customer (important).
- Able to multi tasks and adapt to the fast-paced work environment.
