Adecco is collaborating with a global leader in crane manufacturing. They specialize in producing and servicing mobile telescopic cranes, tower cranes, and lattice-boom crawler cranes for various construction and heavy-lift applications.
They are looking for a senior technician to join their growing team. The ideal candidate for this role should have a strong understanding of crane operations, including mechanical and electrical systems. They must be skilled in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining tower cranes, conducting training, inspections, and handling physical demands such as lifting, climbing, and working at heights. The Job
- Diagnose, adjust, repair, or overhaul tower crane
- Conduct new or used crane training and commissioning.
- Conduct crane inspections, prepare inspection reports, and recommend new replacement parts.
- Conduct crane erection training for crane types.
- Apply electrical, electronic, and mechanical theory and related crane knowledge to rectify crane faults.
- Perform remote diagnostics in real time using crane error codes provided by the customer.
- Test mechanical and electrical products and crane equipment after repair or modification to ensure proper performance and compliance with manufacturer's specifications.
- Dismantle and reassemble heavy equipment using hoists and hand tools.
The Talent
- Minimum of 5 years of pertinent experience within the crane industry, demonstrating a deep understanding of its operations and requirements.
- Possesses fundamental knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, crucial for effective troubleshooting and maintenance.
- Capable of working in a heavy machinery environment, including tasks under chassis or at heights, ensuring safety protocols are followed meticulously.
- Due to on-site crane servicing responsibilities, must meet physical demands such as lifting and carrying wire ropes, climbing ladders and stairways, frequent stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and requiring significant finger dexterity.
