What you will do:
Drive growth as part of the Global Biopharma services and solutions team.Meet or exceed sales targets assigned via direct sales activities with customers, and by collaborating with other sales team members, service sales/alliance managers, and technical specialists
Manage a sales funnel grow the funnel through customer interactions and cross-functional collaboration. Update opportunities as they progress through the funnel. Ensure regular health and upkeep of the funnel
Analyze and articulate customer and market needs, prospecting all categories of NAT customers from translational discovery, PD to manufacturing including CMOs, developing deep relationships with key customers and managing opportunities in collaboration with the sales organization to meet and exceed sales goals
Consult and gain credibility with customers on the appropriate solutions to propose when moving between research through clinical to marketed applications
Who you are:
BSc. in a Life Sciences discipline is required. A Ph.D. and strong nanoparticle formulation or cell/molecular biology with multiple years of experience in a commercial role in the biotechnology industry
Demonstrated ability to work directly with Customer at all levels within the organization from Process Development scientist to CEO, CFO.
Demonstrated superior problem solving and interpersonal and account management skills in a commercial environment
Proven track record in successfully leading, negotiating and executing complex deals concerning intellectual property assets, with the capability to provide deal summaries and drafting term sheets for exclusive license agreements
Demonstrated aptitude towards workflow selling and proven experience selling services with long sales cycles
Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:
Travel 50% of the time
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
Selling Biotech/Biopharm services and or other contract manufacturing services
PhD or advanced degree in nanoparticle technologies
