Settlements Executive (Gas/Power/Concentrates/Metals/Oil)

.Seeking for a Settlements Executive with minimum 2 years of hands-on Settlements experience in a Commodities Trading company dealing with Gas/Power/Concentrates/Metals/Oil.

THE COMPANY

Entrenched within their specialized markets, this company seeks to exceptionally push their own boundaries. Currently, they are currently seeking for a Settlements Executive to be part of the Operations team.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Check and update new customers bank details
• Deal with payables and receivables i.e. Check payments and receivables vouchers against invoices, shipping documents and approve payments
• Resolve any potential delays of AP and AR process
• Ensure prompt payment and receivables received
• Perform LOI redemption/track shipping documents
• Involve in any projects relating to settlements function
• Work closely with counterparties other relevant departments

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Diploma or Degree in International Finance/International Shipping/Business Studies/Finance/Banking/Economics/Commerce or any other relevant education
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on Settlements experience in a Commodities Trading company dealing with Oil/Dry bulk
• Knowledge of shipping terms/Incoterms and physical trading Contract terms
• Organized, meticulous, has good interpersonal and communication skills
