Shared Investigative Services Apprentice 2025
Responsibilities
Recent Polytechnic Graduates who join the Shared Investigative Services (SIS) Apprenticeship Programme will go through a 12-month learning and development journey across the management of Standard Chartered Bank's global whistleblowing programme. You will join the SIS Operations & Analytics team which is responsible for the following:
- Management of the Bank's whistleblowing programme. This contributes to minimising financial losses, reputational and regulatory risks, operational risk events involving criminal conduct, dishonesty or deliberate breaches of policies or regulations;
- Risk and Governance for SIS. This includes performing risk and control assessments related to SIS processes and technology applications;
- Drafting and maintaining Policies, Standards and Department Operating Instructions (DOI);
- Management of SIS's Case Management System;
- Manage SIS's Records Keeping, Privacy and Data Sovereignty processes to ensure compliance with regulatory and Bank's requirements
- Managing audits, regulatory requests and projects relevant to the SIS.
You will be rotated within SIS Operations & Analytics to support the various portfolios and delivering key responsibilities and projects.
About The Apprenticeship Programme
During this learning journey, you will embark on two 6 months rotations. You will be exposed to different projects and tasks, alongside structured trainings, mentorship and on-the-job learning. Through the programme, you'll experience an incredible and varied global learning experience, which include:

Eligibility
- We welcome graduates from all Polytechnic Diploma disciplines with less than 2 years of working experience.
- Have the permanent legal right to work in Singapore
- Keen interest in Banking and Finance industry
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft IT applications (e.g. excel, word)
- Strong written and spoken skills
- Detail oriented and meticulous
