Duties and responsibilities:

Maintain a close communication and working relationship with the site operations team and managers.
Facilitate HSE, RAMS and permit requirements on works. Comply with all safety documentation and raising deficiencies to management.
Ensure any accidents, near misses, good catches are reported timely and logged on HSE tool
Effective work order management to meet contractual obligations.
Ensure that routine checks/inspections are completed on time and corrective actions are logged on computer maintenance management system.
Maintain and carry out effective site handovers, critical plant status, plant isolations, issues arising, ongoing works and any other engineering task requests.
Supervise vendors carrying out works, ensuring satisfactory completion of assigned work.
Must have knowledge and background of M & E equipment, including Electrical services, fire protection, ACMV services, BMS (building management system).
Willing to learn security system such as CCTV and card reader access.
Complete all assigned training and as recommended for the role.
Timely implementation and recording of all statutory inspections including accurate recording of electrical, fire and water hygiene records
First contact to response user request such as power trip, water leak, plumbing and sanitary, provide printer paper deliver, adjust door, light replacement, etc.
Self-motivate and self-initiative to troubleshooting to sort out defeat to reinstate with shortest possible time.
Ensure that service records are completed thoroughly and quality maintained with any recommendations/corrective actions followed up and escalated to line management.
Maintain 100% uptime and minimize risk of impact to client and site operations.
Ensure that Plant areas, workshops, stores, changing/rest areas etc. are kept to the highest level of housekeeping
Assist and participate on Client and JLL Site FM Audits.
To assist in preparation of weekly, monthly and quarterly maintenance reports.
Be available to work on duty shift (including on public holidays).
Stand by 24*7 for all emergency call outs.
Maintain register of all call outs and prepare incident reports.

Qualifications and experience:

Approved apprenticeship or appropriate experience within Building Services, including HVAC or Electrical/ Mechanical or equivalent.
HSE understanding and awareness is necessary.
Good understanding and skills in plumbing, security, handyman works.
At least 5 years of building services & engineering environment experience is preferable.
Experience of working night shifts is preferred.
Proactive approach to undertake all tasks required.
Excellent numeracy and literacy skills.
Good computer literacy using Windows Office applications (Word, Excel and Outlook).
Effective problem solving skills.
Committed to the delivery of excellent customer service.
Self-motivated, calm manner and able to work under pressure.
Smart appearance, presentable.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Experience of working in busy commercial contracts and achieving KPIs and SLAs
