We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Shipping Disputes Paralegal to join our Singapore office. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a newly established UK law firm, working alongside experienced lawyers on complex international shipping and maritime disputes. Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting lawyers with case management, including document review, legal research, and preparation of court and arbitration filings.
- Assisting in drafting and proofreading legal documents and correspondence related to shipping disputes.
- Coordinating with external experts, clients, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth communication and timely progression of cases.
- Maintaining and organizing case files, including evidence, correspondence, and other critical case documents.
Key Requirements:
- 1-2 years of experience in a legal role, ideally with exposure to shipping, maritime, or commercial litigation matters.
- Diploma in Law or LL.B. in Law
- Excellent research, organizational, and communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, work under pressure, and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong teamwork skills and a positive attitude, with a desire to contribute to the success of the team.
