SHIPPING OPERATIONS SUPERVISOR

Requirements:

• 5 Years of experience in operations
• Previous experience in a shipping or receiving role
• Supervisory experience preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks
• Proficient in Microsoft Office

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all incoming and outgoing shipments
• Supervise a team of shipping clerks
• Ensure accuracy of shipping documentation, including bills of lading, packing lists, and shipping labels
• Maintain inventory of shipping materials and supplies
• Monitor shipping costs to ensure that budgets are met
• Communicate with carriers to coordinate shipments and delivery schedules
• Resolve any issues related to shipping and receiving activities
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment
