Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and highly competent Shopify Web Developer and Automation Specialist for a 3-month project-based contract. This role requires full-time dedication to develop, optimise, and maintain a high-performing, visually appealing, and conversion-focused Shopify store. You must be adept at both front-end and back-end development, with a strong ability to manage a fast-paced workload, effectively communicate, and be available during Singapore office hours.
Key Requirements
- Proven expertise in both front-end and back-end Shopify development, with a deep understanding of the platform's ecosystem (Apps, APIs, themes, and integrations).
- Strong experience in building and optimising subscription flows using Octane AI, quiz builders, and Recharge.
- Advanced proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and Liquid (Shopify's templating language) for custom development and troubleshooting.
- Ability to work during Singapore office hours (9:00 am to 6:00 pm SGT) with availability for communication and collaboration throughout these times.
- Excellent understanding of UI/UX principles and a track record of creating visually appealing, high-converting web pages.
- Strong capability in setting up, maintaining, and optimising Shopify apps and third-party integrations.
- Experience with data analysis, tools such as Google Analytics, heatmaps, and A/B testing to enhance user experience and conversion rates.
- Competence in SEO best practices, site speed optimisation, and performance management.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle complex challenges in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities Include
- Web Development: Develop and optimise high-converting landing pages and websites within Shopify, ensuring responsiveness across all devices.
- Subscription Flow Management: Build and manage subscription flows using Octane AI, quiz builders, and Recharge to maximise customer retention and lifetime value.
- Automations and Integrations: Implement and maintain integrations across Shopify apps, payment processors, and marketing tools to ensure seamless store operations.
- Performance Optimisation: Monitor and enhance page performance, loading speeds, and user experience through data-driven insights and A/B testing.
- Site Security and Maintenance: Conduct regular security audits, implement measures to prevent vulnerabilities, and ensure 100% uptime for all sites.
- Collaboration and Reporting: Work closely with internal teams, report on performance, and provide actionable insights based on data analysis.
- Documentation: Document all processes, workflows, and testing outcomes for future reference and onboarding.
Contract Details
This is a 3-month full-time contract requiring full commitment and availability during Singapore office hours, from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm SGT, Monday to Friday. The role demands exceptional speed and efficiency in task execution, along with proactive communication and collaboration within these working hours.
