Show operations Technicians

Base Entertainment Asia is looking to hire for multiple positions in the Ops/Technical Departments for a 5 month long outdoor light event from August 2024 to February

• We are looking for passionate and motivated individuals to join us in creating a magical universe of lights and multimedia in Singapore.
  
  In the event set up phase, the local team will have the opportunity to receive on-the-job training while working closely with the international technical team from Canada. We are looking for people who can commit to a 6-month period and staff will be paid based on completed shifts (5 shifts per week, 8 hours each shift).
  
• 1) Operations Dept - Site technician and Show ops technician (Total 2-3 positions)

Participate in the assembly, disassembly and installation of structures and infrastructure at the event site; including Unpacking/packing of parts;

Ensure all equipment is properly stored and maintained;

Set up and tear down of outdoor sites, scenery, paving;

Prepare and set-up of stage equipment;

Support the team in other tasks as required;

• 2) Electrical Dept - Electrical technicians and Electronics repair technician (Total 2-3 positions)

Participate in the assembly, disassembly and installation of electrical structures and infrastructure at the event site;

Make the electrical connections of the structures.

Participate in the maintenance of electrical equipment

Ensure all equipment is safely stored and maintained;

Support the team in other tasks as required;

• 3) Technical Dept - LX/Video/Sound technicians (Generalist and able to cover all three areas) (Total 3 positions)

Carry out the assembly and dismantling of all technical and stage equipment: video, lighting, sound, special effects, in collaboration with the various technical departments.

Perform equipment maintenance

Ensure inspection and maintenance of audiovisual equipment.

Ensure the security of audiovisual equipment.

Make technical modifications as needed.

Support the team in other tasks as required;

• PREREQUISITES:

Experience in a similar position is an asset;

Willingness to learn and ability to work in a fast-paced team environment;

Enjoys working outdoors and physical work;

Punctual and resourceful

Available to start work immediately

Job Type: Contract
Contract length: 5 months

Pay: $2,500.00 - $4,500.00 per month
