Primary Purpose Of The Position
T. Rowe Price's (TRP) Singapore Undergraduate Internship Program offers undergraduate students a challenging opportunity to grow a career and thrive in the asset management industry. In this program, the interns will receive training, mentoring and experience performing tasks across one or more of the functional areas in our sales, marketing, and business management teams.
Here Are The Key Components To The Internship Experience.
- Get to know our firm.Build your network and interact with seasoned employees within our organization. Gain work experience and learn more about T. Rowe Price and the asset management industry.
- Immersion in the world of Global Distribution. Develop and deepen your knowledge across one or more of the functional areas in reporting, sales, marketing, and business management within investment management.
- Project based.Participate in various analytical and research projects.
- Mentorship. Benefit from the training provided to develop the skills required for this internship, and exposure in the Global Distribution teams within the Asset Management business. You will receive continual support through strong mentorship and guidance.
Qualifications
- We are looking for interns with good interpersonal skills, both verbal and written
- Strong attention to detail, ability to prioritize work and a good team player
- Intellectual curiosity and a disciplined approach to analysis
- Comfortable both collaborating across diverse teams and working independently
- Proficiency in working with MS Excel and PowerPoint
- A background and/or strong interest in finance and accounting would be helpful, although it is not essential
