Roles & Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
1. Coordinate, plan, and manage schedules for contractors and subcontractors
2. Perform the tasks of a cost estimator
3. Responsible for coordinating physical construction activities, overseeing workers performance, ensuring on-site safety, and collaborating closely with subcontractors and construction workers.
4. Provide internal reports on inventory and equipment usage.
5. Control the supply of materials required for the construction site, track supplier deliveries to ensure timely arrival, organize waste disposal when necessary, and maintain cleanliness.
6. Manage project schedules to ensure they run according to plan and within budget constraints. Supervise overall performance at the construction site, ensuring work is completed as efficiently as possible, while monitoring the performance of subcontractors and workers.
7. Monitoring project progress and making adjustments as necessary to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.
8. Collaborating with architects and other stakeholders to develop project plans and specifications.
9. Ensuring that all construction work is carried out in compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and other legal requirements
10. In addition to overseeing on-site activities and leadership responsibilities, you will need to handle some paperwork or use a computer to update documents. For instance, this includes maintaining daily records of site activities and documenting any incidents or exceptions that occur
Requirements
. Degree / Diploma
. Min 5 years of relevant work experience in similar capacity in Plumbing & Sanitary Services for HDB Project
. Highly motivated and possess strong leadership qualities and the ability to work independently in a challenging environment.
. Able to communicate effectively at all levels.
