Sitecore Developer

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Sitecore Developer to design, develop, and implement cutting-edge software solutions on the .NET platform using Sitecore technology. This role is highly collaborative and fast-paced, requiring deep technical expertise and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement solutions using Sitecore technology on the .NET platform.
• Collaborate with development teams to deliver Sitecore Experience Platform solutions and related products (e.g., xDB, xConnect).
• Develop Sitecore components, templates, layouts, and dynamic bindings using best practices.
• Utilize Sitecore 10, SXA, GraphQL, and Sitecore Headless to create innovative solutions.
• Implement and manage APIs, including REST, SOAP, and Sitecore APIs.
• Ensure adherence to Sitecore best practices, including security roles, workflows, and caching strategies to optimize performance.
• Maintain and improve the architecture documentation of systems, features, and functionality.
• Participate in web development, configuration, and post-deployment support.
• Leverage tools like TDS or other item serializers for database management.
• Work with version control systems such as Git/TFS for efficient code management.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience: 5-8 years of expertise in Sitecore development.
• Technical Proficiency:
• Strong knowledge of .NET, C#, MVC, HTML5, JavaScript, SQL databases, Web API, REST, and SOAP.
• Solid understanding of object-oriented design principles and software patterns.
• Proficient in using Sitecore templates, layouts, components, and rendering techniques.
• Sitecore Expertise: Experience with Sitecore 10, SXA, Sitecore Headless, GraphQL, and Sitecore API.
• Development Practices: Demonstrated ability to apply best practices in Sitecore development, including workflows, security configurations, and caching strategies.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in resolving technical issues.
• Version Control: Experience with Git/TFS or equivalent code versioning tools.
• Documentation: Ability to document system architecture and functional specifications for implementation.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Sitecore certification(s) are a strong plus.
• Hands-on experience with TDS or equivalent database item serializers.
