SK13112531 - Accountant (6 Months Contract)

The Company

Our client, a US MNC with a history of 100 years, in the commodities industry is currently seeking to hire an Accountant to join them for 6 months.

The Role

You will be tasked with the full spectrum of day to day accounting function. This includes timely closing of books, up to preparation of financial reports. You will be involved with handling intercompany activities such as account reconciliation, resolving any discrepancies. You will be performing inventory reconciliation, liaising with auditors as well as performing analysis and providing recommendations to support business decisions. You will be required to participate in process improvement projects, etc.

Your Profile

The successful incumbent should have a degree in accounting and finance or its equivalent, with ACCA/CA qualifications. He/She should come with a minimum of 5 years experience in the relevant capacity, have good communications skills, are a team player, have good problem solving skills, can work in fast paced environment and have the ability to work independently. Immediate availability will be advantageous.
