AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector. The AWS Global Support team interacts with leading companies and believes that world-class support is critical to customer success. AWS Support also partners with a global list of customers that are building mission-critical applications on top of AWS services.
We are seeking for a seasoned leader to take on the role as SMB Sales Leader in supporting some of the most exciting organizations in Singapore to digitally transform. This lead role will support the team that drives the strategy and relationships with AWS's SMB customers in Singapore to the next level. The SMB Sales Lead will leverage their industry experience to hire and develop, coach, and lead a seasoned team, to execute on our strategy leading to deeper technology relationships and joint go-to-market initiatives. This role will manage the goals, objectives, and performance of the team.
The leader will have outstanding executive presence and have led complex and cross functional teams across Sales, Technology and Solutions in a direct and/ or matrix environment.
We are looking for a creative and motivational leader with a customer obsessed approach.
Key job responsibilities
- Lead the SMB sales teams including developing opportunity pipeline, driving revenue growth, Partner alignment, ISV sell-with and user adoption as well as direct sales engagements cross key industry verticals acting as executive sponsor for key customer and partner relationships.
- Build and leverage C-suite executive relationships with external stakeholders (customers, partners, press/media) to further adoption of AWS services in the market.
- Serve as a key member of AWS Singapore leadership team, in helping to define and execute AWS country growth strategy.
- Operational Excellence is a non negotiable. Lead sales cadence through robust performance measures and reviews, using data driven analytics, to drive strong sales execution. This includes owing all metrics and goals and reporting of all account related activity i.e. sales forecasting, account strategy, demand generation, deal strategy development and trend analysis.

Basic Qualifications
- 10+ years of technology related sales, business development or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of sales management experience
- Experience in management of large, complex enterprise accounts or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications
- Demonstrable ability to lead self and teams in consistently exceeding quota and key performance metrics.
- Exceptional communications skills, with the ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations, engaging and influencing C-level executives.
