Our client has a newly created role, seeking for a Tax Manager with an international scope, to ensure tax compliance across all entities within the Group while also focusing on tax optimization strategies.
The Role
The Tax Manager will play a vital role in overseeing and preparing in-house direct and indirect tax returns across the Group. This includes reviewing and ensuring the timely filing of these returns by group finance and tax agents. The individual will assist in calculating monthly and year-end tax provisions for the Group entities and will analyze and develop business strategies related to taxation. Acting as an internal advisor on all tax matters for the region, the Assistant Tax Manager will address both direct and indirect tax issues. Responsibilities also include participating in assigned projects, supporting transfer pricing documentation, and collaborating with various departments to ensure compliance with the business and reporting requirements of AIS tax incentives granted to the Group. Additionally, this role will assist the Group Tax Manager with ad-hoc tax matters and serve as a key contact for tax compliance and advisory issues.
Your Profile
The ideal candidate for this position holds at least a degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related discipline, along with a professional qualification such as ACCA, CA, or CPA. They should possess a minimum of 5-6 years of relevant tax experience gained in a Big 4 firm or in commercial roles and have a strong understanding of both direct and indirect tax. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is also required and having SCTP accreditation will be a plus
