The Company

Our client, a Singapore-based industrial services group, with operations spanning the Middle East, India, Southeast Asia, and the US, provides comprehensive maintenance, plant upgrades, revamping, and engineering services to leading global companies in the energy and chemical sectors. Operating on a conservative yet profitable model, it is now expanding its global presence across multiple industries. They are seeking for a newly created Finance Director role, reporting to the Group CFO. Alongside the Group CFO, this role will also be partnering with the Chairman, CEO, and the top management team.

The Role

The sought-after candidate for the role of Finance Director must have a background in a high sales growth environment and business process development. The critical responsibilities entail accurate & timely financial reporting, project costing and margin enhancement partnership with business leaders, working capital management improvement with the management and tax risks and compliance issues. Another pivotal role will be to oversee the financial reporting, budgeting and business forecasting consolidation for Asian businesses. Evaluating organizational structure, reporting lines and the capability of finance and accounting teams from four different offices will also be necessary. Moreover, enhancing the function of regional cash & debt management, you will work on fixed asset management and capital expenditure investment decision optimization to generate value.

Your Profile

In terms of qualifications & experience, the candidate must be adept in local market functioning and able to work collaboratively with a diverse international team. Their role as an industry expert will be to guide the Board and Management towards informed decisions. Candidates must have experience working with organizations having a workforce of over a thousand employees. Knowledge of the industrial service-oriented business will be an added advantage. Proficiency in English, both written and spoken, is a necessity.
