Roles and responsibilities
1. Draw out Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) competencies in the participants, especially
- Self-Management,
- Relationship (peers, teachers and parents/guardian) and
- Responsible Decision Making skills.
- Self-Awareness & manage emotions and expectations
2. Empower participants to improve their resilience and cooperate with others towards a common objective.
3. Create an enviornment enhancing experience and learning opportunities of the participants towards the school's Learning for Life Programme (LLP) values and develop social emotional competencies, self-efficacies, leadership and competencies, such as:
Preparing participants for future roles in society.
To counter bad influences in society.
Moral values such as:
Honesty.
Hard work.
Respect for others.
Cooperation.
Compassion.
Forgiveness.
4. Have good Social awareness - the ability to understand and respond to the needs of others as well as begin to understand and practice good Relationship management including the ability to communicate and bond with others.
