Job Responsibilities
Casework & Counselling, Information & Referral
- Provide Information and Referral services
- Provide case intake for walk-in clients
- Handle up to 30 cases as assigned, maintain client's records and monitor their progress
- Activate the cases in each quarter and ensure timely closure for inactive cases that are no longer in need of service
- Complete case recordings timely
- Provide timely response and relevant intervention to clients
- Collaborate with relevant partners in addressing the concerns faced by the family through case conferences and other collaborative intervention
- Attend regular supervision for case direction, support and enhancement of clinical skills
Community Work and Groupwork
- Be a member of the Community Work Task Group
- Assess the needs and requirements of the community within the FSC boundary for intervention
- Plan, organise, execute and evaluate community work interventions
- Develop the proposal paper for a Groupwork project
- Coordinate, facilitate and evaluate the groupwork
Qualifications and Requirements
- Degree or Post Graduate Diploma in Social Work preferably an accredited Social Worker
- Minimum 3-5 years relevant work experience in social work setting
- Has a pleasant disposition, with good communication and interpersonal skills
