Enterprise Services (ES) is responsible for the world leading application of technology and operations across every aspect of CommBank, from innovative product platforms for our customers to essential tools within our business. We also use technology to drive efficient and timely processing, an essential component of great customer service.
You will be working as a part of Lending & Integrated Channels Technology to achieve their strategic objectives through planning, prioritising, delivering and supporting projects and initiatives. Your teams success will be realised through partnering with business and IT teams across both Lending & Integrated Channels business domain and Technology to deliver beautiful experiences and exceptional capabilities to our branch applications. Our solutions are relied upon and trusted by millions of Australians everyday so we put a great deal of emphasis on reliability, performance, security and ease of use.

Roles & Responsibilities:
Execute and maintain automated test assets to ensure desired level of quality and test coverage.
Contribute to the estimates on the Automation/manual Test efforts for various features and new initiatives as part of definition of done.
Collaborate closely within your scrum team to drive testability in solution design and promote best test engineering practices in the development process
Establish traceability and coverage through effective mapping of test cases & scripts to acceptance criteria as defined in user story
Advise and apply best test engineering practice, and supporting tools and technologies to specific features and projects
Adhere to the Code of Conduct . The Code of Conduct sets the standards of behaviour, actions and decisions we expect from our people.
Drive Test Practices and Strategy throughout the scrum team
Assist the team in automating the identified test cases, also review unit or API/integration level tests where appropriate
Conduct 3 way handshakes for all user stories that require testing
Complete all test activities for System Testing, Accessibility Testing, Cross Browser testing and End to End Testing
Help verify that the conditions for Definition of Done is met for all user stories
Essential Skills:
Must have at least 4+ years of experience in API testing
Experience of building frameworks from scratch.
Ability to code in C# or Python
At least worked on one of the CI/CD applications such as Teamcity or Jenkins
Experience in docker
Experience in service virtualisation and mocks
Experience in Kafka
Qualifications:
A degree in Engineering / Computer Science or a related discipline from an accredited university
