SOFTWARE ENGINEER INTERN

Key Responsibilities:

Design & Development:

Assist in designing, developing, and testing electronic circuits and systems.

Support PCB (Printed Circuit Board) design, layout, and testing.

Assist in developing prototypes and performing hardware debugging and troubleshooting.

Software Development & Embedded Systems:

Collaborate on developing embedded software for microprocessors and other embedded systems.

Assist in the integration of hardware and software components for electronic systems.

Support programming tasks using C, C++, or Python in embedded environments.

Testing & Evaluation:

Assist with hardware and software testing, verification, and validation of electronic devices.

Document test results and work with engineers to identify areas for improvement.

Research & Development:

Contribute to the research of new technologies and innovations in electronics and computer engineering.

Support the team in evaluating new components, tools, and methodologies.

Collaboration & Reporting:

Collaborate closely with engineers, software developers, and product teams to meet project requirements and deadlines.

Prepare technical documentation and reports for internal review.

Qualifications:

Currently pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor's or degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.

Strong knowledge of electronic circuit design, digital systems, and embedded systems.

Proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++, and Python.

Basic understanding of microprocessors, and FPGA-based systems is a plus.

Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.

Preferred Skills & Experience:

Experience with hardware/software co-design and integration.

Familiarity with debugging tools such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and multi-meters.

Knowledge of wireless communication protocols (e.g., Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Zigbee).

Understanding of machine learning and AI applications in embedded systems (a plus).
