Software Engineer Lead

Position Overview:

The Software lead will spearhead the development and deployment of cross platform embedded software solutions. This pivotal role entails team leadership, ensuring projects align with quality benchmarks and deadlines.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a team of software engineers, providing guidance on technical design, coding practices, and problem-solving techniques.
• Collaborate with product and design teams to define requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Set the technical direction for projects and ensure the team follows industry best practices in software development.
• Architect and design scalable, maintainable, and high-performance software solutions.

Hands-On Development:

• Actively participate in coding and code reviews, writing clean, efficient, and well-tested code.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide timely solutions.
• Ensure robust testing practices are followed (unit tests, integration tests, etc.) to maintain high software quality.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering or related field.
• 8+ years of progressive leadership experience in engineering teams with expertise in audio DSP engineering.
