Software Engineer
We are a dynamic hedge fund seeking a talented Software Engineer to support our growth. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with exceptional coding expertise and a keen interest in financial services and asset management. Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop innovative software solutions to enhance the firm's operational efficiency
- Collaborate with operations and other teams to identify business needs and deliver tailored solutions
- Oversea and maintain the existing codebase and databases, and documentation, ensure seamless functionality and reliability
- Partner with IT support to proactively address issues and maintain the stability of the internal programs and servers
- Coordinate with vendors and tech support to ensure internal platforms are correctly installed, configured, and thoroughly tested for optimal performance.
Qualifications / Profile
- 3-5 years of experience in a relevant field exceptional candidates with less experience may also be considered
- Degree-level qualification in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline, with expertise in coding using at least one of the following languages: Python, C/C++, Java, Excel VBA.
- Experience in Azure SQL and Python will be a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively, bridge the gap between trading and technology teams.
- A proactive, enthusiastic, and self-driven attitude.
- Willingness to learn and contribute to various business management activities within the firm, including Investment, Research, Finance/Accounting, Operations, and Compliance.
