The Web3 Scrum Team of the Product Innovation Value Stream is dedicated to creating a seamless transition between digital asset banking and web3 by building solutions for self-custodial wallet recovery, multi-wallet dashboard, and expanding Sygnum financial products to self-custodial users. Committed to advancing the adoption of decentralized finance, our team focuses on creating user-friendly software solutions that empower users to hold their digital assets seamlessly and securely.
With a keen emphasis on security and user privacy, our team designs and develops systems that leverage blockchain technology to provide secure account recovery mechanisms. We build intuitive Web3 dashboards that provide our clients comprehensive insights into digital asset portfolios and financial activities across various decentralized finance (DeFi) platforms.
As an engineering member of the Web3 Scrum Team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of decentralized web experiences of our clients. You will contribute to the development efforts to enhance our Web3 account recovery mechanisms, find solutions for a user-friendly DeFi dashboard, and innovate in the adaptation of blockchain technology for financial products. Furthermore, as part of the Product Innovation Value Stream, you will be able to work on future initiatives, bring MVPs to the market and drive adoption of new products.
The role
As a software engineer, you will
Actively participate in developing new features and improvements by writing and reviewing high-quality, secure code with comprehensive test coverage
Constantly enhance the quality and security of applications, identifying existing technical debt and making plans to repay it
Respond to production incidents promptly and efficiently, collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and restore service continuity

You like to create scalable frontend applications and backend services based on our tech-stack: JavaScript (React) & TypeScript (NestJS) running on AWS.

You are comfortable taking ownership of the whole development lifecycle, from designing solutions to running the application in production

Few things that will help on the job
Expertise in JavaScript and TypeScript
Expertise in frontend libraries (React)
Expertise in backend frameworks (NestJS)
Expertise in working with relational databases (Postgres)
Working experience with key-value databases for caching (Redis)
Working experience with utilizing job queue frameworks (Bull)
Working experience with utilizing events / messaging frameworks (Kafka)
Designing flexible and robust REST APIs with an API first approach
Understanding microservices, event driven architecture and being able to implement complex functionality with high quality and security
Working knowledge of Docker and containerization
Experience of working with Kubernetes is beneficial
Experience of working with AWS is beneficial
