Backend (Golang/Python/Java)
Broaden our platform's payment acceptance by integrating with banks, payment gateways and other entities in Singapore and the region
Connect our platform to a variety of Electric Charging stations to power cashless payments and real-time telematics
Add closed-loop tracking APIs for authentication-based redemptions used to track COVID-19 tests for healthcare providers through our platform.
IOT (Java/Kotlin/Android/C)
Extend our platform's support of new types of Vending Machines actively used by customers in various countries
Build prototype IOT applications used to enable Credit Card payments on Electric Charging stations
Create migration scripts and programs allowing remote upgrades of existing IOT devices in various countries to our new middleware and backend stack.
Frontend (Vue/React)
Improve usability and IOT management features on our operator-facing dashboard used to manage Vending Machine fleets
Add support for user whitelisting, access management and redemption tracking through our dashboard for use by a variety of customers through Vending Machines
Co-design and implement new dashboard tabs used to add, manage and view Electric Charging stations connected to our platform
What are the tasks that you will perform:-
Working together with our core backend team, you will help to develop the micro-services and database systems for our IOT transaction platform, which is already being used to impact millions through national distribution campaigns, electric vehicles charging and more.
* Design, develop, test and deploy high-quality software that powers user-facing features
* Create APIs and frameworks that support innovative applications on Beep's platform
* Liaising with banks, payment gateways and other entities for integration
* Work with other engineers and product managers to build products
* Raise the bar by reviewing each other's code, share knowledge, tips and tricks, and generally help out - within and across teams. This may include pair programming.
Requirements:-
* Currently taking a degree in computer science or related fields
* Experience with software development with Python, JavaScript or Golang
* Prior experience working with and managing Relational (preferably PostgreSQL) databases
* Familiarity with DevOps and Cloud deployment tools such as Docker Swarm, Kubernetes, AWS, GCP is a plus
* Able to start in mid Dec 2024/early Jan 2025 and commit a minimum of 4 months on a full time basis.
