Role Description

This is a remote internship role for a Software Engineering Research Assistant at Innovus Capital. The Research Assistant will be responsible for conducting analytical research, data analysis, and collaborating on innovative projects using advanced technologies. Responsibilities include assisting with research tasks, analyzing data sets, and contributing to the development of financial analytics solutions.

1. Financial Data Scraping:

• Develop web scraping programs using Python to collect real-time data from major financial websites and APIs.
• Understand anti-scraping mechanisms to ensure data completeness and accuracy.

2. Large Language Model Data Processing:

• Familiarity with and ability to use intelligent agents such as Llama2, ChatGPT API, and Auto-GPT.
• Explore and develop new methods for processing financial data using large language models.

Requirements

1. Undergraduate or graduate students in computer engineering, software development, or related fields are preferred.
2. Fluency in Mandarin is preferred.
3. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and C++, familiarity with LaTeX formatting, and knowledge of web scraping technologies.
4. Familiarity with open-source large language models such as Llama2 or ChatGPT API, as well as intelligent agents like Auto-GPT.
5. Candidates with basic financial knowledge are preferred.
