Responsibilities

We're looking for a Software Engineering Technical Lead to provide sound technical expertise in the design of backend architecture and systems to deliver impactful products to users.

• Lead backend architecture design, defining scope and optimising systems
• Design functional flows and document critical requirements
• Develop code and provide technical mentorship to team members
• Resolve complex technical issues in a hands-on manner
• Enforce best practices to ensure quality and security of code
• Perform evaluations on existing systems to propose enhancements or mitigate risks
• Work across functions and with internal stakeholders.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science or any relevant discipline
• At least 6 to 8 years of experience in a technical role in backend development
• Strong proficiency in multiple tech stacks
• Hands-on experience in Agile software development
• In-depth understanding of and experience in AWS
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Experience in various documentation tools
• Good communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
