Responsibilities
We're looking for a Software Engineering Technical Lead to provide sound technical expertise in the design of backend architecture and systems to deliver impactful products to users.
- Lead backend architecture design, defining scope and optimising systems;
- Design functional flows and document critical requirements;
- Develop code and provide technical mentorship to team members;
- Resolve complex technical issues in a hands-on manner;
- Enforce best practices to ensure quality and security of code;
- Perform evaluations on existing systems to propose enhancements or mitigate risks;
- Work across functions and with internal stakeholders.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science or any relevant discipline;
- At least 6 to 8 years of experience in a technical role in backend development;
- Strong proficiency in multiple tech stacks;
- Hands-on experience in Agile software development;
- In-depth understanding of and experience in AWS;
- Strong problem-solving skills;
- Experience in various documentation tools;
- Good communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
