Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive site surveys to evaluate potential solar installation sites, ensuring compliance with all relevant SCDF (Singapore Civil Defence Force) regulations.
- Prepare and generate technical drawings based on project requirements, ensuring all designs comply with relevant building codes and regulations.
- Perform technical assessments such as shading analysis, PVSyst simulations, consumption analysis, and other energy efficiency evaluations.
- Prepare economic analysis, proposals, and tender documents for submission, ensuring accuracy and competitiveness.
- Work closely with the procurement team to liaise with vendors and suppliers for up-to-date price lists, product details, and service information.
- Ensure that technical and design specifications are met through careful interpretation and application of engineering drawings.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project success from design to implementation.
Key Requirements:
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD (a must) for creating detailed and precise drawings.
- Familiarity with PVSyst and Sketchup software is highly preferred.
- In-depth knowledge and experience in interpreting engineering drawings and translating them into practical design requirements.
- Strong technical skills in performing shading analysis, energy consumption analysis, and conducting various technical simulations.
- Excellent understanding of solar power systems and related technical documentation.
- Ability to prepare economic analysis, proposals, and tender submissions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with vendors, suppliers, and internal teams.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on quality, compliance, and efficiency.
