Solar System Designer

Job Description :

• Use software tools to design PV ground-mounted and rooftop systems
• Perform accurate system sizing calculations
• Create electrical single-line diagrams, panel schedules, or connection diagrams for solar electric systems, using computer-aided design (CAD)/ PVsyst software
• Run PVsyst reports for system production estimates
• Develop optimal designs with SLD, PML, conduit, and wire scheduling, routing and equipment plans, and conceptual 3-D renderings
• Execute designs that adhere to grid compliance and permitting requirements Building detailed bills of materials based on system specifications
• Manage relationships with various equipment vendors, contractors, and third-party engineering team
• Troubleshoot design and construction issues in the field
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned

Job Requirement :

• Minimum a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or relevant field
• Minimum three (3) years of relevant work experience
• A positive attitude and are passionate about solar energy
• Preferably to have a good track record of solar projects
• Critical thinking and problem-solving
