A Fenergo Solution Architect is a versatile professional who plays a pivotal role in designing and delivering solutions using Fenergo products. They combine technical expertise with strategic thinking, ensuring that solutions align with business goals and are optimized for the Fenergo offering.
Roles and responsibilities:
Solution Design and Delivery:
Design and deliver solutions for enterprise-grade customers using Fenergo's SaaS product offering.
Recommend the best solution based on given requirements.
Articulate trade-offs involved in choosing one solution over another - ensuring that the chosen solution can is sustainable.
Deliver on time.
Highlight technical decisions impact and risk on business operations.
Holistic Approach:
Bring together technology, people, and processes using governance.
Utilize expert communication and listening skills to ensure solutions meet business needs.
Big Picture Thinking:
Be a big picture thinker while also possessing in-depth problem-solving skills. (Think strategically, execute tactically)
Have broad and deep technical knowledge specific to Fenergo products with both the functional and technical characteristics.
Leadership and Collaboration:
Act as a trusted advisor and leader, partnering with business stakeholders and executives.
Work with the client's technical teams to ensure practices are followed.
Translate business needs into a technical vision.
Contribute to the global practices and patterns.
Roll up complex topics into executive summaries for non-technical stakeholder engagement.
Proofs-of-Concept (POCs):
Build POCs for solutions that teams can iterate on. Provide rapid prototype of solution design to convey detail and ensure detailed design patterns are provided to clients.
Guide builders in executing technical visions with the Fenergo ecosystem.
Problem Resolution:
Serve as the technical escalation point for any technical issues on the path to a production go live.
Leverage experience as a highly experienced problem solver within the Fenergo ecosystem.

Data Integration and Management: Overseeing the integration of new data sources and managing the lifecycle of data across the organisation.
Application Architecture:
Designing Application Solutions: Creating architectural designs for software applications that meet the business requirements and are scalable, reliable, and maintainable. (IE: Integration Application Solutions)
Application Portfolio Management: Overseeing the application portfolio to ensure alignment with business needs and technology trends. Mapping product portfolio to client ecosystem.
Quality Assurance: Ensuring that application designs meet quality standards and performance requirements, Non-Functional Delivery (NFRs)
Technology Architecture:
Infrastructure Planning: Designing and planning IT infrastructure that supports the organization's technology needs, including cloud services, networks, and hardware.
Emerging Technologies: Keeping abreast of emerging technologies and assessing their potential impact on the client's technology strategy.
Disaster Recovery and Security: Developing strategies for disaster recovery and maintaining the security of the technology infrastructure.
Requirements
Collaboration and Communication:
Utilize strong collaboration skills for Fenergo project networks
Demonstrate excellent communication skills
Identification and Communication of risk to adoption, implementation or reputation.
Ability to provide experience-based advice and/or analogy based content to negotiate challenging topics.
Analytical Skills and Solution Design:
Apply Fenergo-specific solution development controls
Apply analytical skills to assess and understand Fenergo technology and requirements
Apply knowledge of Fenergo-specific web-based security practices
Utilize experience in Fenergo-specific Engineering & Software Architecture Design
Industry knowledge:
Have an overarching knowledge around cloud native technologies
Apply knowledge of web-based security such as OAuth2, OIDC, PKI, etc
Apply familiarity with integration patterns and designs with an event driven SaaS offering
Experience with complex distributed compute and service-based architecture
