Summary
The objective of the position is to orchestrate digital transformation and ensuring that business imperatives align with technological solutions.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including merchandising, QA, Production, Logistics, Admin to optimise and govern our business solution and ensure system processes improve productivity.
STEM the Solution Architecture of LK Asia with future proof and scalable design that allows growth and the execution of multiple strategic projects business and technology teams. Setup the guiding architecture principles and guide the team with best practices.
What you'll do
The holder of the position is mainly responsible for the following areas in coordination with his / her superior:
Evaluate existing and emerging technologies on a regular basis along with establish a fit-gap understanding of business needs vs our current offerings
Instigating, analyzing, and evaluating various alternatives and arriving at the best technology solution to solve specific business problems
Describing the structure, characteristics, behavior, and other aspects of the software to project stakeholders
Defining features, phases, system components, interfaces, integration points, and solution requirements
Providing technical direction, oversight of technical design, effort estimation, and delivery of all IT projects
Connect with subject matter experts (SMEs) across IT and Process domains to assess the problem areas and propose right architecture and potential solution options
Establish the framework of Buy Vs Build for solution initiatives
Mentor and develop a diverse team of direct reports comprising of diverse competencies
What you'll need
Masters or bachelors degree preferably in Business, IT, or other related disciplines
Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in Souring, Retail, or Supply Chain Management
Solution Architecture management and Software evaluation staretgy
Proven experience in Solution Design and Governance for large Retail, FMCG companies
Solid understanding of Solution that are related to Supply Chain Management, Product Development, Promotion and Assortment Areas along with Reporting and Dashboarding
Proven experience in multi-vendor relationship management
Good knowledge of all aspects of systems development and SDLC (Agile, Waterfall).
A methodical and analytical approach, great problem-solving skills and ability to provide logical answers to complex problems
Excellent written & verbal communication skill
A team player who enjoys working in partnership with other members of the team and wider stakeholders
